Now that he has gotten used to us, our little Lion is quite the active boy. In fact the phrase I've said the most recently is "Not for Lion! Not for Lion!"
Let's throw everything off the nightstand. Not the clock! Not mommy's glasses! Not daddy's inhaler! Let's open and close the closet door 100 times. Let's throw the remote control across the room. Oooh look a camera. Not for Lion, give mommy the camera!
It is going to be an interesting experience for Bunny to have such an active brother. I have a feeling that she will not be pleased. But I know she'll get used to it, eventually.

YAY!
Playful Lion, I dare say! :)
Oh Renee, I am just over the moon for you!
woohoo! your SON is playful. hehe. and my parents used that phrase too! "Not for babies"
he sounds fun (and exhausting)!!! Praying for a easy flight home.
Just a tip for the future.... We found that with our very active 1.5yr old boy, it really helps to tell him what he can do instead of what he can't. For instance when he decided he wanted to climb on top of the dining room table to spin the chandelier around (this was at 18months) about 100 times a day, saying no or stop or even get down had no effect. When I started repeating "Feet on the chair!" over and over as soon as he started onto the table, he finally started keeping his feet on the chair and therefore off the table top. Granted this meant I succumbed to him standing in the dining room chairs but with the adventurous ones you have to make some concessions.
Congrats on your son!
Yaye, so glad he's gotten use to you both. Can't wait til he meets his sister and to see her reaction. I have no doubt that Bunny will be a great BIG sister!!!
XOXO
What a grand adventure you are on!
First of all... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!
Look at it this way... I bet that little boy will provide lots of great blog fodder.
